Lung Screenings:

A lung screenings test is a simple lung function test that measures the lung function. The test assist healthcare practitioners in the diagnosis and assessment of a patient's asthma. It also aids in empowering patients to understand their level of asthma control. Mid-Atlantic Asthma Foundation can offer these screenings during health fairs, educational workshops, doctors offices, or employee workshops.

Our screenings are conducted by highly skilled practitioners in pulmonary lung function testing. During the screening sessions patients receive educational support on asthma and resources to assist their prescribed management program at home.

Our goal is to reach asthmatics who are challenged with managing their asthma by providing education and resources to support their home management plans.

Screenings are offered at varies locations:

  • Health Fairs
  • Hospitals/clinics
  • Churches
  • Workshops
